I Wanna Be Cosmic

While we took our “cosmic research” very seriously, we also enjoyed poking fun at our New Age pursuits and aspirations.

I wanna be cosmic, cosmic, cosmic
Tell the future and read minds
I wanna understand the Tarot
And know all the astrological signs
I wanna try out tantric yoga
And learn how to levitate
I wanna wander ‘cross the astral plane
Every time I meditate.

I’ve read some Edgar Cayce
And Castaneda, too
I know all about Illusions
And Jonathan you-know-who
I’ve got a TM mantra
For which I had to pay

[Be it ever so humble, there’s no place like …Ommmmmmmmm]

And I know who Maharishi is
And what Seth has to say.

I wanna be cosmic; I’m gonna have such fun
Life is like a movie and the feature’s just begun
The New Age is upon us, a revolution of the mind
And nothing is a secret, it’s there for us to find.

I wanna be cosmic, cosmic, cosmic
I wanna heal with just a touch
I wanna walk through walls and windows
And wooden doors and such
I’ve tried past-life regression
I do yoga every day
And if you ask me what I want in life
Here’s what I’d have to say:
